Great Plains Telehealth Resource and Assistance Center (gpTRAC) – Webinar

March 4, 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

The Great Plains Telehealth Resource and Assistance Center (gpTRAC) is a federally funded program of the University of Minnesota Institute for Health Informatics.  In its almost 15 years of existence, gpTRAC has helped countless rural and safety net organizations explore, implement, sustain, and evaluate telehealth programs of all kinds.  Our territory covers the 6-state region that includes Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, and North and South Dakota.  We provide free training, information, tailored consultations, webinars, and other informational resources that address the full spectrum of telehealth services from an objective perspective.  We are available for contracted training services, but the vast majority of our work is providing free consultations to individuals and small organizations.  We are available by phone (888-239-7092), email ([email protected]), and on the web at http://gptrac.org.  We are also part of the National Consortium of Telehealth Resource Centers (NCTRC) which can be reached at http://telehealthresourcecenters.org.

In the webinar on March 4, we will provide an overview of telehealth policies, both before COVID and the waivers that went into effect in 2020.  We will also provide an overview of clinical and organizational best practices for engaging patients professionally and ethically via telehealth.  We will have ample time for Q&A as well.
